RIVIERI MAURIZIO

Maurizio Rivieri was born in 1972 in Massa, where he still lives and works.
From 1996 to the early 2000s he collaborated with numerous galleries including Artomat ( Pietrasanta ), Galleria Corchia ( Aigue Mortes,France ), la settima luna ( Figueras,Spain ).
From 2005 to 2009 he collaborated with video artists and theatre actors in the realisation of audiovisual paths inspired by contemporary narrators’ stories.
In 2007 he began working with the Susanna Orlando Gallery in Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta, where he held a personal exhibition entitled ‘carte’.
In 2010, under the patronage of the municipality of Pietrasanta, he held a solo exhibition entitled ‘la controfigura dell’assenza’ at the cloister of S. Agostino, and in the same year he was selected by Flash art magazine as one of the most promising artists in the special issue dedicated to the Tuscan region.
His works are present in numerous public and private collections both nationally and internationally.
