Gallery93 art space in the ancient 11th century Sacristy
The gallery is located in the historic Piazza di Santa Maria in Castello, in the heart of the city center, a few meters from the Emperor’s Castle, and boasts architectural origins dating back to the year 1000; the stone wall is in fact a living testimony of the primitive parish church of Santa Maria in Castello. The rooms of the GAC93 therefore take on the role of prestigious historical testimonies and become the perfect containers for valorizing contemporary and modern art: the past as a precious frame for the present.
