Fernando SPANO was born on 13 March 1965 in Veglie in the province of Lecce.
From 1983 to 1986 he worked first as an apprentice and then as an assistant in an art studio in Lecce.
From 1987 to 1991 he began his artistic career by taking part in numerous group exhibitions and organising personal exhibitions in numerous galleries and exhibition spaces (Lecce, Milan, Padua, Parma).
In particular, two important creations on commission are remembered.
From 1998 to 1999 he created a fresco for the family chapel, commissioned by Count Leone De Castris.
In 2004, he was present at MIART in Milan and, in the same year, he was commissioned to paint the portrait of Ali Mohamad, Head of Mission of the League of Arab States in Italy.
He currently has some of his works up for auction at an auction house in Miami (U.S.A) and the auction prices start from 10000.00/15000.00 dollars.
