GERMINIASI GIANFRANCO

Germiniasi was born in Mantua and today lives and works in the province of Monza Brianza. He spent an adolescence strongly characterised by his love of music, which still leads him to have experience with a rock-blues band.
At the beginning of the 1980s, he opened a graphics studio to which he added the hobby of black and white photography, an experience that would later influence his painting substantially.
His interest focuses mainly on the female figure set in atmospheres of light and shadow that enhance its plasticity.
The background, sometimes absent, takes a back seat.
The nude is expressed by the artist with a violently real note, never rough but elegant.
With sharp execution and an intriguing, contemporary compositional style, the artist is able to go beyond reality to reach inner depths.
